 The actress wins big at the 32nd Annual People's Choice Awards in an oddly entertaining broadcastThe crowd went wild, but Witherspoon wasn't the only darling of the night. Sandra Bullock won the highly coveted award for favorite female movie star. The modest beauty joked, "I think you picked the wrong person, but I'll take it!" Johnny Depp, who won favorite male movie star, assured audiences via live telecast that he's "surrounded by wild animals and studio executives" in the Caribbean, where he's filming the much anticipated Pirates sequel. The focus of the night was not only on big actors, but also, on big musicians. Green Day won for favorite group while Kelly Clarkson won for favorite female performer, beating out some fierce competition from mom-to-be Gwen Stefani and favorite hair winner, Faith Hill. In the press room, Clarkson denied reports that she's dating singer, Graham Colton, claiming, "we're [just] really good friends." Graham has a different story. Just last month he told TEEN PEOPLE that he's been Clarkson's steady since July. We see behind your hazel lies, Kelly! There were some big surprises, as Matthew McConaughey beat out dad-to-be Brad Pitt and The Rock for favorite male action star. McConaughey credited "mom and pop" for giving him his boyish, albeit rugged, good looks. As for the win, "it feels good," he said. The biggest shock of the evening came from George Lopez, who was censored by the network for his use of profanity, and who raised more than a few eyebrows with some abrasive comments aimed at the newly single Newlyweds. Regarding Nick Lachey's glaring absence from the show, Lopez scoffed, "The producers wanted me to apologize to Nick for not being here -- we had enough seat fillers." Next, Lopez took a stab at Simpson's burgeoning movie career. "That makes up for The Dukes of Hazzard," he sneered. Luckily, Simpson took the comments in stride, telling the press, "I'm a fan of George Lopez." Let's hope Nick is just as forgiving. The awards ended with a puzzling yet endearing speech by Simpson who thanked her fans for their love and support. "I'm not good without you guys," she said. "I wouldn't even be cute without you guys." Comments

i adore reese witherspoon i did a report for school of her!!!!!! She's in my fav movie legally blonde i have both of the movies!!!!! i luv her character elle woods!!!! i want to read all the elle woods books i didnt know they had any until last month so i dont know how many there are!!!!!!!!! im so jelous i cant go see the legally blonde musical on broadway!!!!!!!!! i dont live near new york. does reese witherspoon have a fan club website or anything if so contac me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cya later
