REVIEWS

Nascar '08
EA’s NASCAR license makes its next-gen debut with style. Features a new career mode called The Chase, 40 customizable car setting options and real-time telemetry data, including tire wear and car damage. But the amazing graphics are the real hook here, with a new particle system that provides unparalleled realism.
Platform: XBox 360 & PS3
Rating: 8.8
Two Worlds
Desperately trying to be the next Oblivion, Two Worlds is definitely an ambitious game but ultimately is not as good as it could have been. A lackluster graphics engine, aimless story and plethora of bugs all conspire to make Two Worlds a few worlds too many.
Platform: PC
Rating: 6.8
Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the 80s
Take a trip down memory lane with this 80s-centric addition to the Guitar Hero franchise which adds a whopping 30 songs to the already incredible gameplay. Grab your spandex, lipstick and furry pink guitar and rock out!
Platform: PS2
Rating: 8.7
Mario Party 8
The Wii isn’t suffering any shortage of party games, though Mario Party 8 successfully deliverers a well-rounded experience loaded with creative mini-games, colorful graphics and excellent use of the motion-sensing controllers.
Platform: Nintendo Wii
Rating: 8.5
Coded Arms A traditional FPS with decent graphics and intuitive controls, though it offers nothing new you haven’t seen a billion times before. Hardcore players will mock the easiness of the game, though it’s a decent entry for new gamers.
Platform: PSP
Rating: 5.5
