{rjp edison1for-web(1).jpg|left}Firstly, welcome to the very first Saturday Night Spotlight, your one-stop shop for what's hot, cool and kudos-worthy in the world of movies, music, TV, nightlife, food, celebs, websites and well, anything we damn well please...
Secondly, The Edison. Invention and intoxication fuse perfectly at this swanky new bar/lounge that used to be a private power plant and is now the brightest addition to the scene-ification of Downtown LA. We love a bad pun so we'll call it an eye-candy bar, all high ceilings, chandeliers, antique generators, an eclectic jukebox and a stage show of sexy yet classy dancers. This place is unlike anything you've ever seen in LA. Downside is there's a dress code but the good news is there's no cover, the drinks menu is to die for and if it's not your style you can always bar-hop to the nearby Golden Gopher or Bar 107.
