Think Reggie Bush: think football legend, but what about the guy beneath the red and gold shirt? As Reggie prepares to graduate, we’re stripping him down and getting a glimpse of his true colors.

One of the most exciting things about being a USC Trojan football fan was that we knew when we went into battle each Saturday, we had Reggie Bush on our side. It wasn’t a question of whether we would win or lose -- it was how many defenders would Bush juke out of their jocks, leap over or just flat out burn down the sideline.

When we think of Reggie Bush, we think of a football legend. We think Heisman. We think MVP. We know Reggie as the type of football player who practices hard, plays harder, delivers the best and yet is still humble enough to regard everything that’s come his way as a blessing.

We all know Reggie in terms of football, but how well do we know him as a fellow Trojan student? When he steps off the field, he’s a typical college kid who will be leaving USC in May along with the rest of the class of 2006.

We caught up with Bush to give him a good farewell and to finish his college career right where Matt Leinart started his … on the cover of Saturday Night Magazine.

SN: We have all come to know and love Reggie Bush on the field. Compare the guy
we see on the field with who you are off the field.
RB: Football is a different attitude, it’s a different mentality. I’m normally pretty quiet.
I like doing things normal people do like hanging out, going shopping, watching movies, and going out to night clubs. Yeah, that’s pretty much it; I’m really just a normal guy.

SN: Walk me through your daily routine when you’re at USC.
RB: I go to class from 8:00am-1:00pm. Then, I have an hour for lunch and then I go to practice from about 2:00pm-6:30pm or 7:00pm. Then, I go home, do a little homework and go to sleep.

SN: What made you choose to be a Political Science major?
RB: Honestly, because that was the next most interesting thing down from pre-med. I was a pre-med major at first, but then I changed it to Poly Sci to have more time for practice. For me, Poly Sci is still interesting.

SN: So being Poly Sci, how do you feel sharing your name with the president?
RB: (Laughs) It feels good, you know, it’s nice to know the president is also a Bush.

SN: Besides football, what are you going to miss most about being at USC?
RB: Just the atmosphere here, you know it’s a great feeling here. I’m from Southern California and I’ve had a lot of great memories here, especially at USC. I’m enjoying it.

SN: Traddies or 9-0?
RB: What are they?

SN: They’re USC bars. I’m guessing you don’t go to either!
RB: Haha, no I don’t. I don’t go out around USC. I go to the clubs.

SN: Where would you take a date?
RB: Someplace nice. To dinner – maybe on the water.

SN: Are you seeing anyone right now?
RB: No.

SN: What are you looking for in a girl?
RB: (Laughing) Right now nothing! But no, she should be smart, good looking and a good dresser.

SN: So tell us the truth, when walking to class, do you ever pretend that other people are trying to tackle you and zigzag through them?
RB: Haha, yeah actually, sometimes I do….Why not!?!

Hi Reggie, I am not a big fan just looking for a friend someone i could talk to about things and be straight with me. Reg i must say that you have a wonderful smile which would light up a room. I don't know if you get any of these mails but if you do can u please let me know, i find it so crazy that fans can't even talk to you guys. Oh my gosh I think that I am his #1Fan because I even set my signature on my email address Mrs. Reggie Bush and I mean I have all of his pictures of him from high school up until now and I read and watch everything that comes on about him. And to those haters out there don't be spreading rumors about something that you don't know about because I never listen to them.
