Evident by their Saturday Night Loud! single “Honestly,” these boys have heroes so solid that they never stood a chance of being flushed.“Led Zeppelin, man. Their rhythms are too good. And you gotta love the Beach Boys for the vocals. And the Beatles for experimentation. They tinkered around with some crazy sounds, but still found a way to keep it poppy.”Though placing Cartel in a category with such legends might be a bit too soon, one should never say never. Give Cartel a chance and you may be looking at one of the legendary influences for upcoming bands decades down the line. Just don’t stand underneath them if they happen to be climbing a tree. Life on the road can be hard. It can turn a guy crazy and make a man insane. And sometimes, it can drive a drummer to climb a tree and defecate onto the world below.
