Along with Low Vs. Diamond and The Deadly Syndrome: a lineup which proved to everyone attending that LA is still spitting out amazing bands. There were good signs from the beginning. I only counted six people at Safari Sam’s wearing “scene hats.” Even better news was that, including my own, I only saw eight pairs of black-rimmed glasses and seven striped sweaters. Not counting the one I was wearing. Of course. These were the signs that told me tonight’s show wouldn’t, well, suck. |
