Four years ago Michael started Saturday Night Magazine out of his fraternity room at the University of Southern California. Staff meetings took place in the sorority basement next door, where he and his friends would raid the kitchen for late night snacks. Distribution was done by either pledges or fraternity members who were bribed with a keg. Oh yes, life was good.
Michael's resume includes working four years at Fox Sports, working for Seventeen Magazine, the New York Times and Newsweek Magazine as well as being published in a high school journalism text book, "Introduction to Journalism". He is the recipient of a Columbia Press Association Award '98 and was named by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the top 20, twenty-something entrepreneurs in Los Angeles. In 2001, Michael was a member of the Trojan Pac-10 Championship baseball team.
