It’s hard to admit, but at the end of the day, even we weren’t invincible to Cupid’s charming disposition. That’s right – his bloody little arrow hit us right in the heart and sent us spiraling into BIX, a dashing supper club in the heart of the financial district.
Every part of the place reeks of romance, from the trek down the narrow alley to reach the
entrance to the cozy tables-for-two draped with starched table linens, a refined splendor permeates the space, as opulence, in the form of rich wooden fixtures at the bar and the live jazz that floats from the first floor to the second floor. BIX is a highly recommended choice for those nights when you’re looking to impress a special someone.
Aside from cooking up romance, BIX cooks up a storm in the kitchen, so determining which mouth-watering dish you should feast upon is one of the hardest decisions you’ll make in your life. The mini lamb burgers are heavenly, as is the American Kobe “Bavette” steak. Be sure to cap the night off with the bananas foster with dark rum and vanilla ice cream, a decadent dessert that servers prepare in front of you.
