And while Avalon’s blue on blue restaurant has the star-studded client list (Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, etc.) and the delectably intoxicating cocktails (such as the elixir), two things that sets it apart from its counterparts are its rooftop garden and reasonably priced deals.
Wait a minute – a rooftop garden – at a hotel? We had to do a double take as well. But Executive Chef Scott Garett and Restaurant Manager Ryan Hoffman surely knew what they were doing when they came up with the concept, because the garden’s results speak for themselves. Incredibly fresh spices and herbs wind up in the seasonally changing dishes and drinks, adding a noticeably refreshing element.

There’s also no better place to be during this sweltering summer; blue on blue will introduce “Retox Detox,” a fun Sunday afternoon menu featuring affordable and inventive drinks and eats.
