In an intimately small setting, ZINC’s contrast of rich woods and lightly colored mint and cream cushions creates a sultry ambiance that’s subtly romantic. As the night wears on, singles – who are more than ready to mingle, to say the least — swarm the bar and patio. But it’s those sunny So Cal afternoons that are the perfect time to sneak in a little one-on-one cuddle action in ZINC before watching the sunset at the nearby beach.
ZINC cures the munchies with a varied selection of casual dining options like its trio of sirloin, ahi and chicken mini-burgers. Drinks, on the other hand, are a little more — shall we say — upscale. Hey, it’s not at every bar that designer cocktails like the Frostbitten Chocolatini arrive in cone-shaped glasses made of ice. In fact, ZINC may be the only bar in the States serving up five irresistible Subzero martinis.
