If you’re a fan of The Office you should know that actress Mindy Kaling not only stars as ditz queen Kelly but is also a writer/producer on the show and is an all-around funny lady. Consequently, it’s a treat to read her blog, the title of which is pretty self-explanatory. The stuff she recommends is always pretty cool and fun but it’s the accompanying anecdotes and her candid, funny writing that makes this blog worth the visit. Even her entry about hand soap is amusing.

PublicSchoolIntelligentsia.com
In this A.D.D. age of Twittering, txt msg grammar and Perez scrawling on photos of Lindsay Lohan, it is a relief to stumble across a blog like PSI . No fancy bells and whistles, just a cultural commentary by a whip-smart, wit-wielding team of writers who want to share their fascination with Meghan McCain, use of the word “conservitard” and their love/hate relationship with all things hipster. They’re opinionated, snobby and we’d be happy to buy them a round of beers.

CelebSnacker.vox.com
One of the many perks of being an Angelino is that you get to randomly bump into, say, an Olsen twin at the Coffee Bean or Jeremy Piven jogging at Runyon Canyon. Thankfully, there are blogs like Celeb Snacker, written by expert celeb-ologists who impart the delicious details of such in-the-flesh sightings for our vicarious enjoyment. Recent snackage includes Gyllenspoon canoodling at Coachella and Mike Tyson eating Pinkberry. Better than a flick through US Weekly.

ValleyWag.com
ValleyWag is the Web nerd of the Gawker family, covering all things Twitter, Facebook, Apple, Google and so forth. If a CEO gets fired, a website gets big or Oprah tweets, you will hear about it right here with a good lashing of sarcasm. It’s pretty business-minded and geared towards those who are seriously into that side of the social networking and corporate Internet world, but useful if you’re at a party and want to boost your Web cred with insightful knowledge of the Twitter versus Facebook war.

URLesque.com
Now we’ve all been infected with viral marketing, it’s become a full-time effort to keep up with the latest must-see video, the hottest celeb Twitter feed or that oh-so-adorable puppy photo all your friends have already seen. URL esque is your one-stop shop for the best of the Web, featuring a frequently updated, blog-style stream of videos, links and photos covering everything from muppets and politicians to food and fashion. You’ll never be out of the cyber loop again.

TextsFromLastNight.com

Remember that text you shouldn’t have sent last night? There’s a good chance it might now be up at TFLN , a massive running list of funny/gross/incoherent/tragic texts that people have submitted. Fear not, there is no naming of names, just the area code. Such a simple idea but endlessly entertaining. Some of our recent faves include, “Im wearin a dollar bill hat and tgkin a big girl home. Lifi is gmwnd,” “I’m laying in your front yard are you home” and “What a fucking waste of an outfit.”
