"Men's Needs"
It’s not easy being a rockstar in today’s music scene. The immense pressures of having a hip asymmetrical haircut (which most likely covers half your face) and a collection of red checkered Vans infest the indie-rock world. The result? Many of these hot indie-rocker boys look alike, making it difficult for the thirteen year old girl in Suburbia, USA to choose who she is going to marry when she grows up. The Cribs take this dilemma to a whole new level. They’re brothers…

If you love Rock n’ Roll that you can dance all night to, then you’ll flip your wig for these cute British siblings. Claiming the borough of West Yorkshire, England, this musical threesome combines catchy guitar riffs with a pop sound that resembles a combination of The Raconteurs and The Subways. The band is gearing up for the release of their third album, “Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever” which is scheduled to drop May 10, 2007.
Although their music definitely fits a typical indie-rock sound, these boys keep their heads and wits about them while maintaining a sense of humility that is devoid in many bands coming out of today’s major labels. Though they’re opening for big names like Franz Ferdinand, the brothers still hold Wakefield, that little city in West Yorkshire, close to their hearts and relate some of their best memories to playing small shows with a mere 200 people in the audience.
