20. Zoe Kravitz
Where You’ve Seen Her: Her last name is enough to get her star treatment as the daughter of rockstar Lenny Kravitz and The Cosby Show star Lisa Bonet, but she’s taken to doing things on her own. She’s making a name for herself in films like The Brave One and Birds of America, alongside actors Matthew Perry and Hilary Swank.
Coming Soon: Kravitz plays Ashley in the upcoming film The Greatest, with A-listers Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon. She’s also been spotted filming scenes for the movie Twelve, which stars Emma Roberts, another rising star under 30.

Where You’ve Seen Her: The ethereal blonde beauty has appeared on several episodes of The CW’s Supernatural and the hit show 7th Heaven. She's also appeared in movies like Click, When A Stranger Calls and Taken, proving that she can play a variety of roles. Also, if her last name sounds familiar, it’s probably for a good reason — she is the daughter of David Cassidy.
Coming Soon: Cassidy will play Ella Flynn in the upcoming TV drama Melrose Place, co-starring Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Cassidy’s character will be a stylish, sexy publicist who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants.

Where You’ve Seen Her: America fell in love with this blonde bombshell when she won not once, but twice on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Coming Soon: This year Hough will be traveling around the United States from concert hall to convention center as she begins her tour for her self-titled debut album.
Buzz Factor: Hough isn’t only a dancer, but a singer as well. In 2008, she won two Academy of Country Music

17. Gemma Arterton
Where You’ve Seen Her: Arterton played sexy Strawberry Fields in the 2008 Bond thriller, Quantum of Solace. She was also seen in Guy Ritchie's hit crime film, RocknRolla.
Coming Soon: In 2010, Arterton will be seen in Burden of Desire, a mythology-based film about Perseus, son of Zeus, along with Clash of the Titans and St. Trinian's 2.

16. Thomas Dekker
Where You’ve Seen Him: You’ve probably seen this young rising star being chased for the past two seasons in the hit television series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, where he plays John Connor.
Coming Soon: In the next year, Dekker is expected to star in an array of horror flicks including From Within, Laid to Rest and All About Evil as well as the much anticipated drama My Sister’s Keeper, co-starring Cameron Diaz and Alec Baldwin.
Buzz Factor: Dekker isn’t just talented on set, but in the studio as well. Influenced by his musical upbringing, Dekker started writing “Electrofolk” music, a fusion of classical and electronic music, at age 16.
15. Mia Wasikowska
Where You’ve Seen Her: Wasikowska is fairly new on the scene, making her first appearance in the film Defiance, starring Daniel Craig. She’s also had a recurring role on the drama In Treatment.
Coming Soon: You can see Wasikowska alongside Hal Holbrook in a well-received South by Southwest film, That Evening Sun. She’s also starring in the Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland as none other than Alice. You can also see her playing historical aviatrix Elinor Smith in the Amelia Earhart biopic, Amelia, alongside stars Ewan McGregor and Hilary Swank, out later this year.
Buzz Factor: Wasikowski has already secured roles amongst big names in big films, and we can’t wait to see what she has planned next.
14. Emma Roberts
Where You’ve Seen Her: You may have seen the budding actress starring in family films Hotel for Dogs, Nancy Drew and Wild Child, but she wasn’t always the lead role on the big screen. Roberts, who is the niece of actress Julia Roberts, broke into the spotlight as Addie Singer on her Nickelodeon show Unfabulous, and now again with her first adult role in the recently released and positively reviewed Lymelife.
Coming Soon: Roberts will appear with Kiefer Sutherland, Chace Crawford and 50 Cent in the Joel Schumacher film Twelve.
Buzz Factor: Roberts has begun the process of making a name for herself as a serious, adult actress. We predict that she’ll easily break away from “tween” roles and onto the A-list in no time.
13. Rachael Taylor
Where You’ve Seen Her: The stunning Aussie native starred in her first blockbuster, Transformers, with Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. She’s also been in Bottle Shock with another rising star, Chris Pine.
Coming Soon: Although Taylor won’t be in the Transformers sequel, you can catch her in Splinterheads, which was a huge hit at the South by Southwest Festival. She also has a lead role in the upcoming Cedar Boys, and her voice will be in Zack Snyder’s animated film Guardians of GaíHoole.
Buzz Factor: The major blockbuster Transformers catapulted Taylor into the mainstream celebrity circuit, and she has taken full advantage of the success, quickly rising in the ranks of stardom with a significant number of films being added to her resumé.
12. Jay Baruchel
Where You’ve Seen Him: Baruchel jumpstarted his career in the Nick at Night, Friday night favorite, Are you Afraid of the Dark? While he’s had roles in various television series and movies since then, you probably recognize this Canadian from two of last year’s funniest blockbusters: Knocked Up and Tropic Thunder.
Coming Soon: 2010 will be a busy year for this multi-talented funnyman who has four movies expected to hit theaters near year including The Trotsky, She’s Out of My League, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Buzz Factor: With a reel of movies in the works, Baruchel is also working on his career behind the scenes as he finishes writing his own screenplay, The Goon.
11. Nikki Reed
Where You’ve Seen Her: Reed first appeared on the silver screen in the controversial 2003 movie Thirteen. Since then, Reed has appeared in Lords of Dogtown, Mini’s First Time, and most recently played Rosalie Hale in the movie film adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling novel that swept the nation, Twilight.
Coming Soon: Reed will return as Rosalie in the next Twilight installment, New Moon.
Buzz Factor: A Los Angeles native, this young actress came to be known not by being discovered in a local coffee shop or auditioning for a role in an upcoming film, but by writing an autobiographical screenplay, Thirteen, that told the story of her life as an emancipated 13-year-old who experimented with drugs and sex.
10. Jesse Eisenberg
Where You’ve Seen Him: While Eisenberg’s acting career began on Broadway, he is most notably known for his role in the 2005 independent drama, The Squid and the Whale and was also seen in the comedy Adventureland with Kristen Stewart.
Coming Soon: Eisenberg will next be seen in the horror-comedy Zombieland with Emma Stone and Mila Kunis.
Buzz Factor: This dorky but cute New York native has a wide range of acting experience in both big budget films like The Hunting Party with Richard Gere and Terrence Howard to indies such as Holly Rollers where he plays a Hasidic Jew who sells ecstasy. Can you say range?
9. Olivia Wilde
Where You’ve Seen Her: You’ll recognize the stunning brunette as the mysterious Dr. Hadley on House. She’s also appeared as Alex Kelly on The O.C. and in films like Conversations with Other Women and Alpha Dog.
Coming Soon: Wilde will star in Year One as the female lead Princess Inanna alongside Jack Black and Michael Cera. With Judd Apatow as the movie’s producer, it’s bound to be a summer comedy that people won’t forget.
Buzz Factor: Wilde’s role on House has put her on the map in a short period of time. She will get to show off her comedic side in her summer film, and it’s very likely that the predicted success of Year One will only open more doors for the dynamic star.
8. Taylor Kitsch
Where You’ve Seen Him: The ruggedly handsome Kitsch has appeared in John Tucker Must Die and Snakes on a Plane, but has really made a name for himself with his recurring role as Tim Riggins on the popular television show Friday Night Lights.
Coming Soon: As if the original X-Men franchise wasn't popular enough, we’re now being taken back to the start of it all in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Kitsch plays Remy LeBeau / Gambit.
Buzz Factor: The Canadian-born Kitsch has really stepped up his celebrity status in recent years and is steadily on the rise with a superhero title under his belt.
7. AnnaLynne McCord

Where You’ve Seen Him: In 2007, this Los Angeles native emerged from obscurity as Fogel a.k.a “McLovin” in the hit teen comedy Superbad and more recently played the socially awkward and medieval obsessed Augie in Role Models.
Coming Soon: Since Superbad, Mintz-Plasse’s acting career has capitalized on his newfound success and has three more movies set to come in the next year including Year One with Jack Black, Kick-Ass and How to Train Your Dragon.
Buzz Factor: After auditioning for his role in Superbad with a camera-phone headshot and no acting experience other than high school drama class, Mintz-Plasse landed the role that got him noticed by Hollywood funny men like Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd. 5. Kat Dennings
Where You’ve Seen Her: Dennings starred in the 2008 coming of age teenage comedy Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist as well The House Bunny, but is perhaps best known starring opposite Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old Virgin.
Coming Soon: Dennings can be seen in the upcoming superhero movie, Defendor, the family comedy Shorts and the romantic comedy The Answer Man, scheduled to hit theaters this summer.
Buzz Factor: Along with an impressive career, Dennings also has smarts. She finished high school at age 14. This is also when she changed her name to Dennings — her real surname is actually Litwack.
4. Dev Patel
Where You’ve Seen Him: Although he’s been on the acting scene in British television and movies since 2006, most American moviegoers were first introduced to this multi-talented actor in his heartfelt performance in the Academy Award winning film, Slumdog Millionaire.
Coming Soon: Patel is slated to star in the first of an action fantasy film trilogy, The Last Airbender, out later this year.
Buzz Factor: Don’t let his big brown eyes and friendly smile fool you, this young actor can hold his own. Along with delivering Oscar-worthy performances, Patel, who has been studying martial arts since age 10, is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and won the Bronze medal in the Action International Martial Arts Association World Championships in Dublin.
3. Freida Pinto
Where You’ve Seen Her: Her debut role also in this year’s Academy Award winning film for Best Picture, Slumdog Millionaire, has made this beautiful Indian actress a household name virtually overnight.
Coming Soon: You haven’t seen the last of Pinto in American film. Pinto is headed for major stardom with a role in Woody Allen’s next film, set to take place in London, and co-stars Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman.
Buzz Factor: Along with dazzling audiences with her roles on the big screen, Pinto is also a professional model and television host, seen on the popular international travel show Full Circle.
2. Chris Pine
Where You’ve Seen Him: Chris Pine first stepped onto the scene as a heartthrob in his role as Nicholas Devereaux in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, and went on to star in films like Just My Luck, co-starring Lindsay Lohan. He’s also appeared on shows such as CSI: Miami and Six Feet Under.
Coming Soon: Pine is currently winning over “Trekkies” across the nation playing the iconic Captain James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek film with co-stars Winona Ryder and Eric Bana and will later be seen in this fall’s Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey due out September.
