How did you meet Whitney and what was your first impression of her?
Whit and I met at Coachella 3 years ago. Our boyfriends (both exes now) are best friends and we all shacked up in an RV for the weekend. She was pretty shy at first but once she opened up we got on famously. I remember our boys cracking jokes like, 'Oh look at you two, BFFs!'
Was it tough getting used to being on camera all the time? Do you ever accidentally look at camera or swear?
The cameras weren't so difficult to get used to, but only because I grew up with a hand-held camera. I would make silly home videos and host them. But NOT acknowledging the cameras.. that was tricky at first. And I curse like a sailor. But I'm working on it!
Can you give us any hints about what happens in the new episodes?
I wish I could!! Unfortunately I can't predict the future. We just started filming so it's all happening right now. But I can say that we're all single and living it up in the big city!
You seem to be the voice of reason amidst a lot of the romantic drama that happens on the show. What’s your best piece of dating advice?
Ahaha! I think that's hilarious. How did I end up being the voice of romantic reason? I have no clue what I'm doing! I guess I just live by that tried and true motto: Just have fun till it's not fun anymore It's pretty open-ended but if you apply it to whatever you're doing, and if you're responsible and respectful, you'll always be golden.
Do you still watch The Hills? What are your thoughts on Heidi and Spencer?
No, I haven't. I used to but now that I know what goes on behind the scenes, it changed my experience as a viewer. I sort of look at it like work instead of entertainment now. But what I have seen of Speidi, I'm shocked how blatantly they whore themselves out to the media. It's nauseating.
If you were offered your own spin-off show a la LC or Whitney, would you take it?
No. After filming, I have really learned to appreciate my personal time much more. I don't know how Whit does it - girl's a trooper.
Would you consider moving to LA or are you an NYC girl?
Of course! The climate is amazing. I'd love to be bi-coastal and follow the nice weather.
What are your career goals? Any acting or musical aspirations?
At this point in my life, I'm still figuring everything out. Just going with the flow. But I am dabbling with music - been writing some songs here and there and taking acting classes. As far as career goals go though, I don't want to limit myself. Life is too short not to say yes to any opportunity (well, almost any!)
What TV shows are you watching right now?
I'm not a big TV buff, but the last show I watched religiously was True Blood. I cannot wait till the next season starts!
